Thirty–five Glasses

April 09, 2003

35 glasses

washing stationSomeone pointed out, at the JCC in Manhattan’s
First Birthday Benefit,
that there were 35 glasses on the table —
almost four glasses per person.

The food was exceptional.
The company and conversation was really nice too.
I rarely socialize with my co-workers
(ours was a table of only teachers),
and it was fun to be in clothing we would mind
getting covered in paint or playdough.

Check out this snazzy washing–station.
Only at she-she fundraisers, I tell ya.
