Intense flurry

I've had an incredibly intense week and I think this week's musical midrash (Yomru HaMoshlim [Hukkat]) reflects some of this frenetic energy.

To add to the mind-altering effects of hours on end at the Kotel, I decided to go to a Rainbow Gathering-type wedding in the forest outside of Jerusalem. Writing about it now, I'm remembering a dream-premonition of the experience I had several years ago. I don't think I'm a festivals-on-holy-days type person....

I'm trying to accomodate new consciousness patterns and I was overwhelmed by the intesity of stimuli. I felt like an overtired sugar-fed toddler. I was joyous to return to Jerusalem proper.

It somehow became mindnight already, and, though I got quite a lot done today, I hope to accomplish more tomorrow after a full night's sleep.
